Terms & Conditions – Nexus Medical Opinion Services

By scheduling or purchasing a Nexus Medical Opinion service with Walker Wellness & Aesthetics Clinic, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

Scope of Service

A Nexus Medical Opinion is an independent medical opinion based on the medical evidence provided, the Veteran’s reported history, and the clinician’s professional medical judgment.

The opinion is limited to the specific condition or conditions agreed upon for review. We review only the medical evidence relevant to the Nexus Medical Opinion being prepared.

Additional conditions, additional medical opinions, expanded record reviews, or separate medical advice may require a new consultation and additional fee.

Walker Wellness & Aesthetics Clinic:

Does not file VA claims.

Does not determine or assign VA disability percentages.

Does not guarantee service connection, an increased rating, claim approval, or any specific VA outcome.

Does not provide legal advice or legal representation.

Does not control how the Department of Veterans Affairs evaluates or decides a claim.

The final opinion reflects the clinician’s independent professional assessment. If the available medical evidence does not support a favorable Nexus Medical Opinion, the clinician will not issue an opinion that is inconsistent with the medical evidence.

Payment Terms

Payment is required according to the service agreement provided at the time of booking.

Any required consultation fee, deposit, or Nexus Medical Opinion fee must be paid before the service is completed.

Preparation of the Nexus Medical Opinion will not begin until all required payments and requested medical records have been received.

Fees apply to the clinician’s time for consultation, medical record review, research, clinical analysis, and preparation of the medical opinion. Payment does not guarantee a favorable opinion or VA claim approval.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your consultation, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee or forfeiture of the consultation fee.

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice may be considered a no-show, and the consultation fee may be forfeited.

Rescheduling Policy

Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice without an additional rescheduling fee.

Requests to reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to an additional fee.

Repeated rescheduling may require a new appointment fee.

Refund Policy

Consultation fees are generally non-refundable once the consultation has been completed.

Nexus Medical Opinion fees become non-refundable once medical record review, medical research, clinical analysis, or preparation of the opinion has begun.

Once a Nexus Medical Opinion has been completed and delivered to the client, no refunds will be issued.

A refund will not be provided because:

The VA denies the claim.

The VA assigns a lower disability percentage than expected.

The VA requests an additional examination or medical opinion.

The Veteran disagrees with the VA’s decision.

The medical evidence does not support the outcome the client expected.

If the clinician determines before beginning preparation that a medically supportable Nexus Medical Opinion cannot be provided, any refund eligibility will be determined based on the amount of professional work already completed.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and relevant medical records and information.

Failure to provide requested records may delay completion of the Nexus Medical Opinion.

The standard turnaround time begins after all required records, information, and payments have been received.

Acknowledgment

By purchasing or proceeding with a Nexus Medical Opinion service, you acknowledge that you understand the scope and limitations of the service, the payment requirements, cancellation and rescheduling policies, and the refund policy.

You also acknowledge that a Nexus Medical Opinion is supporting medical evidence and does not guarantee approval of a VA disability claim.
